How to Make Coffee

1. Check the Coffee Maker: Ensure the coffee maker is cool. Unscrew it by holding the boiler and turning the pitcher anticlockwise.

2. Add Water: For 6 cups of coffee, fill the boiler with fresh water up to the safety valve. Use fresh, soft water for the best flavor. Avoid salty or hard water, as it may weaken the taste.

   Important: Never operate the coffee maker without water in the boiler or use hot water to speed up the process.

3. Insert Funnel Filter: Place the funnel filter in the boiler. If making 6 cups, use the 6-cup adapter.

4. Add Coffee Grounds: Slowly fill the funnel filter with medium-ground coffee without pressing it down. Ensure an even distribution and remove any excess from the filter's edge. Use high-quality coffee grounds specifically for Moka coffee makers.

5. Tighten: Securely tighten the coffee maker by holding the boiler with one hand and turning the pitcher clockwise. Avoid over-tightening.

6. Prepare to Brew: Place the coffee maker on its base and close the lid.

7. Start Brewing: Press the on/off switch.

8. Enjoy: After a few minutes, your espresso will start to pour. Once the pitcher is full, stir the coffee for an even flavor and serve.

First Time Use

To ensure optimal performance, rinse all accessories and internal parts with hot water before the first use. Brew and discard a few batches of coffee to eliminate any residual flavors.
